Why Jireh, Why Internet Marketing
My name is Heston Glenn. I am the owner of Jireh Web Design and we want to make your life easier. How do we do that? We do it by helping you create websites and internet marketing campaigns that sell for you 24 hours a day to an unlimited number of people at a time. Few, if any of you, are experts on internet marketing or web design and if you tried to do this yourself your life would be miserable. If you don't you'll be missing out on profit. 74%, of baby boomers – one of the most profitable demographics – are now online and 81% of internet users use the web to collect information about a product or service they're planning to purchase.
Why is having a website important to you? Because if people don't find your business on the internet, they will find your competitors and You'll lose business to them. For instance, one of my clients is a funeral director. Part of her website is dedicated to funeral merchandise like caskets, and urns. She had a situation where a family would not be able to get into town until the funeral. Using her website she showed them her caskets and helped them pick out a casket for their son. Would the family have bought a casket they had never seen? Probably not, but they would have bought a casket from somebody. Did we make the funeral directors life easier? Yes.
Most of you probably don't know this, but according to the the Direct Marketing Association average ROI of e-mail marketing is $43.62 for every $1 spent. Imagine if you could reach all your clients once a month in a professional manner at next to no cost. How would you take advantage of that? Would you inform them about more of your services? Would you advertise some promotion? Would you ask for a referral? An e-Newsletter can help you do this, and it is one of our specialties and because it's almost July 4th I'll help the first 4 people who come talk to me create their first e-Newsletter for free. You don't even need a website to take advantage of this.
What if you could find out exactly how many people saw your advertising? What if you could find out how long they spent looking at it, where they were from, how they found your ad in the first place and how many of them took the trouble to look at your ad, but immediately grew bored and ignored it? The thing is, with internet marketing you can. It's well been said that it's not marketing if you can't track how effective it is. Internet Marketing is king when it comes to feedback. You'll be able to immediately tell if your e-newsletter or website is effective, and make changes accordingly and track to see if they make any difference. In a short time you'll be able to reach a profitable state in your online marketing, and you'll know exactly how many dollars you need to spend to get a certain number of clients. It's exciting what you can do.
There's one misconception I'd like to address before I close. That is that internet marketing is untargetable, that is you can't choose who you advertise to. Not true. You can. With Google ads for example you can choose to only advertise to people in a specific region, of a specific age and background, and even only between certain times of day or on certain days. This helps you make the most of your money. For instance, if you're a corporate cleaning services company you know that your market is only going to be shopping around for your service between 8 AM and 5 PM, and within 10 or 15 miles of your location. Plus, they'll probably have high speed internet, and will be over the age of say 23. You can reach that target market easily with internet marketing, and you can know precisely how profitable your advertising is within a week or two.
